Into day 3, a day spent at farmfair in the cattle barns and watching some judging. The judging included Legends of the Fall a jackpot interbreed type competition for 2013 born calves. The Angus winning both the bull and heifer competition, both out of the Miller Wilson stable and the heifer co-owned by T & R Genetics, Australia. The calves were judged by a panel of three judges Kristy Kennedy (PC Angus) was on the heifer panel.
There is a great atmosphere walking through the cattle barns with plenty of friendly people and good cattle also. Also judged today was the Limousin Pen Show which is like our group classes in Australia, consisting of a group of three head of a single sex.
